We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Billing Systems Solutions Analyst to join our Finance Department at Yuno Energy. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Billing Systems and be responsible for developing, enhancing, and continually improving our billing processes.

The role involves serving as a subject matter expert on our billing and revenue recognition solutions, demonstrating deep understanding of order-to-cash processes and customer journeys. The candidate will also help define the roadmap for the Billing product, aligned with strategic goals, customer needs, and technological trends.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data analysis/modelling and be able to identify gaps and opportunities to improve the billing systems. They will also be able to work with key stakeholders to identify and document functional, operational and testing requirements for projects impacting billing systems, and gather, analyse, and prioritise requirements in a clear and concise manner.

This includes writing user stories, managing the product backlog, and ensuring all stakeholders have a unified understanding of the product specifications. The candidate will also assess & support initiatives driven by other departments ensuring Finance and Billing requirements are considered.

Candidate Skills and Experience:

  • Energy industry experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Technical qualification in science, maths or engineering or relevant experience in a billing environment
  • 5+ years of current experience in billing and payments
  • Process analysis and mapping skills with strong planning and organising skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking with a capacity to accurately assess and understand the impact of change
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for customer success and dedication to championing the customer voice
  • Extensive experience in requirements gathering, analysis, verification, and the ability to articulate complex solutions
  • Experience in the management of backlogs, and prioritising them based on business needs
