Job Role Overview

Maintenance professionals with a focus on delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services are required to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, be proactive, and have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The selected individual will be responsible for completing repair orders, notifying management of necessary repairs, performing routine maintenance tasks, and maintaining accurate records.

This role involves working in a dynamic environment, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete repair orders for general repairs as requested
  • Notify management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen, and laundry equipment
  • Maintain adequate levels of spares, stock, and supplies, ensuring effective forward planning
  • Undertake repair and maintenance tasks to a high quality, including plumbing, joinery and carpentry, painting/decorating, and maintenance of lighting and statutory testing
  • Understand and respond to health and safety matters in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Move furniture and heavy items from location to location on site as required
  • Ensure all common parts of the site, including refuse and recycling facilities, are frequently inspected and maintained to the highest standards of repair and cleanliness
  • Ensure the gardens and grounds maintenance to the property are well maintained, clean, tidy, and hazard-free
  • Demonstrate safe behaviors in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards by reporting any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, employee/visitor/patient injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to appropriate individuals
  • Identify areas for improvement, offer suggestions to improve efficiency and productivity, and implement ideas that achieve operational excellence
  • Comply with company safety/security rules and instructions in performing work efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure

  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and IT skills
