Job Opportunity: Lead a Team of Cheese Experts
We are seeking an exceptional leader to manage our team of cheese specialists in a busy retail environment. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for guiding the team to achieve sales targets, maintain high standards of customer service, and ensure efficient daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct a team of cheesemongers, allocating tasks, monitoring standards, and providing training and support.
- Foster a positive work environment with effective teamwork, respect, and morale.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workplace.
- Manage stock levels, process deliveries, and handle customer queries and complaints.
- Serve customers, provide product knowledge, and promote sales.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of leadership experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years in food retail.
- Excellent knowledge of Irish and European farmhouse cheese.
- HACCP trained.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
