Middle Office Operations Manager

This is a leadership opportunity to head a dynamic Middle Office team in a key control function that bridges the Front Office and external market counterparties. You'll play a central role in ensuring trade integrity, regulatory compliance, and process optimisation across a broad asset class spectrum.

Key responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and supporting a high-performing team, overseeing training plans, recruitment needs, and performance reviews. You will also manage trade lifecycle oversight, including matching, settlement, reconciliation, and failed trade resolution, as well as ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the full trade and settlement lifecycle, including OTC derivatives and exchange-traded instruments, with at least 7 years' experience in financial operations and strong exposure to Middle Office. A proven track record in managing and developing high-performing teams is essential, along with experience with fund operations and a strong understanding of NAV impactors.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and reporting frameworks, such as EMIR and SFTR, is required, as is advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Hands-on experience with systems like Bloomberg, SWIFT, CTM, OSTTRA, FusionInvest, and BI tools is also necessary. A relevant third-level qualification in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
