Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and work in collaboration with psychiatrists, clinicians and other healthcare professionals to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualised healthcare plans, ensuring continuous care throughout the treatment process.
  • Conduct therapeutic interventions and offer emotional support to Residents and their families, fostering recovery and wellness.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and treatment planning sessions to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of Residents assessments, interventions, and progress notes in line with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric/Intellectual Disability/Clinical
  • At least 2 years of experience in General clinical nursing or psychiatric nursing, in a hospital, nursing home, mental health facility or similar.
  • Experience in clinical assessments, health management plans and adequate therapeutic skills with a solid understanding of therapeutic approaches.
  • Irish or EU Driving License
  • Legal right to work in Ireland without restriction
