Early Years Manager Position

This is a dynamic opportunity to lead a childcare team and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to learn and thrive.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility.
  • Lead and support a team of professionals in childcare.
  • Manage rosters, compliance, and health & safety standards.
  • Build strong relationships with parents/guardians.
  • Ensure high-quality programmes align with Solta, Aistear, and Tusla standards.

Requirements:

  • Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care & Education (Level 7/8 preferred).
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for early years education and care.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to motivate and develop a team.
  • Experience in managing child-centred programs.

Working as an Early Years Manager requires excellent organisational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. It also involves building strong relationships with parents and guardians to ensure they are kept informed and involved in their child's learning journey.
