Job Overview:

The NEC4 ECC Assistant Project Manager will support the project manager in administering Design and Build Contracts for infrastructure projects.

This role involves managing payments, schedules, compensation events, overseeing risk management via contract mechanisms, and issuing instructions, notifications, and communications.

The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment, acting with mutual trust and cooperation at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing financial transactions, timelines, and contractual adjustments
  • Overseeing risk mitigation strategies through contractual provisions
  • Issuing directives, notifications, and correspondence
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of project management experience
  • At least 5 years working on large-scale infrastructure projects or similar complexity
  • Desirable skills include delivering engineering solutions in urban environments, team leadership, procurement advice, contract operation assistance, tendering support, contract document development, contract administration, scope management, variation control, accounting audits, program assessment, and stakeholder management
Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • NEC ECC Accredited Project Manager certification
  • Safepass accreditation (desirable)
  • Chartered Engineer status (e.g., IEI, ICE) (desirable)
