Senior Contract Manager Opportunity

Our organization seeks an experienced contract manager to support the delivery of a major infrastructure project within a live airport setting.

This role is focused on managing pre- and post-contract activities under NEC frameworks, ensuring contractual compliance, overseeing performance frameworks, and supporting strategic procurement decisions.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in:

  • Managing contract administration from tendering through to final assessment.
  • Ensuring compliance with NEC contract terms and organizational standards.
  • Leading contractual negotiations and supporting procurement strategies.
  • Overseeing contractor and consultant performance against key performance indicators and incentive schedules.
  • Reviewing compensation events, payment applications, and cost forecasts.
  • Supporting claims management and dispute resolution processes.
  • Building and leading a team of Contract Administrators.

Key Requirements:

  • 15+ years in contract management, with at least 3 years of NEC experience.
  • A strong background in infrastructure or aviation projects.
  • Proven experience in performance monitoring and claims management.

Required Skills:

  • Leadership of contract teams (2–5 people).
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in CEMAR, Unifier, and contract management systems.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management.
  • RICS membership or equivalent preferred.
