**National Sales Manager Role Description:**

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a nationwide team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers.
  • Setting clear objectives, providing ongoing coaching, and conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Fostering a high-performance culture that values collaboration, accountability, and client success.
  • Supporting individual development plans to grow capability and retention within the team.

**Commercial & Sales Growth:**

The National Sales Manager will own responsibility for achieving sales targets, revenue growth, and profitability across the business. They will develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share and deepen client relationships. The role requires close collaboration with senior leadership to identify new markets, opportunities, and service offerings.

**Client & Stakeholder Engagement:**

The National Sales Manager will oversee key client accounts, ensuring exceptional levels of service and satisfaction. They will support the team in building strong client partnerships and resolving complex issues. This role also involves representing the business at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.

**Operational Excellence:**

The National Sales Manager will ensure the team operates with strong compliance, process efficiency, and best practice. They will produce regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasting. This role promotes cross-team collaboration to maximise opportunities nationwide.

**Required Skills & Qualifications:**

  • Proven experience managing and developing a sales team (BDMs, Account Managers, or similar roles).
  • Strong track record of achieving sales growth and commercial targets.
  • Excellent people leadership skills able to inspire, coach, and drive accountability.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building ability.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally as required.
