A Senior Manager in Corporate Tax M&A is required to provide strategic tax advice and support across all aspects of M&A transactions.

The role involves leading and managing tax due diligence projects for M&A transactions, providing tax advice on transaction structuring, reviewing legal documentation to ensure tax compliance and optimisation, and collaborating with other departments for seamless transaction execution.

Core Responsibilities
  • Mergers and Acquisitions Tax Advisory & Execution Lead
  • Manage tax due diligence projects for M&A transactions
  • Provide tax advice on transaction structuring, highlighting risks, opportunities, and tax implications
  • Review legal documentation to ensure tax compliance and optimisation
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Financial Due Diligence and other tax teams) for seamless transaction execution
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax matters
  • Attend client meetings and provide guidance on tax strategy and decision-making
  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing training and professional development
Regulatory & Technical Expertise
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on M&A activities
  • Ensure all tax advice and project deliverables meet professional and regulatory standards
  • Apply deep technical knowledge to manage complex tax projects effectively
Requirements
  • AACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Significant experience in corporate tax, with a focus on M&A transactions
  • Proven track record in managing complex tax projects and transactions
