A leading accounting and advisory practice is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to join their growing advisory team in Limerick City. This role suits a technically strong tax professional who thrives in a consultancy-led environment, working across transaction support, due diligence, structuring, and technical advisory.

This position focuses on providing expert tax insight to clients navigating complex transactions, acquisitions, disposals, and restructures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing a portfolio of advisory-led tax engagements, with an emphasis on transactional work (buy- and sell-side DD, purchase order reviews, tax structuring).
  • Supporting corporate clients and internal teams on various tax advisory matters, including M&A, reorganisations, and inbound/outbound investments.
  • Serving as a key technical point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders, providing clear, strategic tax guidance.
  • Reviewing technical reports, identifying risk areas, and offering practical recommendations aligned with current legislation and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Contributing to the development of junior team members while participating in internal technical training initiatives.
Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified, with 6+ years' experience in a corporate tax or advisory role within a Top 10 or large mid-tier practice.
  • Demonstrable expertise in transactional tax advisory, including due diligence, structuring, and risk review.
  • A high level of technical knowledge with strong problem-solving skills and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex tax issues to non-specialists in a clear manner.
  • A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
