We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to manage our financial records. This role involves maintaining accurate financial documents, preparing and filing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Post bank transactions and reconcile them using accounting software.
  • Maintain the clients purchase ledger by posting supplier invoices and reconciling them to supplier statements.
  • Post monthly sales to the client's system.
  • Reconcile monthly cash-book on computerised system and post cash payments.
  • Filing of VAT returns.
  • Preparation of Payroll using a computerised payroll package.
  • Reconciliation of the VAT & PAYE/PRSI liabilities per the accounting system to revenue returns.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • A knowledge of debits & credits and the ability to post journals.
  • Have own transport.
Additional Information:

The role is primarily based in Dublin but may involve some travelling to visit client sites.
