We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Audit Senior. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit, finance, and leadership.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to dynamic and fast-evolving sectors, working with a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting stages.

You will perform in-depth audit procedures, supervise and mentor junior team members, and develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses.

A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the full lifecycle of audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting stages.
  2. Perform in-depth audit procedures, including risk assessments, control testing, and substantive audit work.
  3. Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback.
  4. Develop a strong understanding of clients' businesses, particularly in aviation, structured finance, and asset management sectors.
  5. Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in external audit, ideally within a professional services firm.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical knowledge with practical experience applying IFRS; knowledge of UK/Irish GAAP or US GAAP is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing audit engagements from planning to completion.
