Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organization. You will be responsible for unloading vehicles, checking stock as it arrives, and performing local deliveries when needed.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Unload vehicles and check stock as it arrives
  • Perform local deliveries when needed
  • Organize materials by placing items on shelves and racks
  • Pick and pack items for delivery or collection to meet daily schedules
  • Utilize the warehouse computer system for stock control
  • Participate in regular stock counts and location checks
  • Work efficiently on your own or as part of a team to complete tasks
  • Carry out general warehouse duties as directed by the manager

You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is highly desirable, particularly with a B license.
