Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Yard Assistant/Storeperson to join our dynamic team. This rewarding role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong customer focus.

About the Role:

  • This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a warehouse setting and have previous experience operating equipment such as forklifts.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, participating in regular stock taking, including daily cycle counting and stock counts.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the forklift on a day-to-day basis, serving customers and handling stock deliveries.
  • Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring excellent store presentation and cleanliness.
  • Deliver best-in-class service to customers, providing expert advice on products.

Requirements:

  • Learner's permit or full driver's license required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role desired but not essential.
  • Agri sector or builders provider/hardware experience advantageous but not necessary.
  • Demonstrate initiative, flexibility, good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a team player.
