About our Team Member Opportunity

We strive to create a supportive environment where employees can grow with the business. As a key part of our team, you will report directly to the site manager and be responsible for operating a forklift on a day-to-day basis, serving customers, and handling stock deliveries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operating the forklift while serving customers and handling stock deliveries
  • Maintaining store cleanliness and tidiness, including shop floor, yard, and display areas
  • Delivering exceptional customer service, including expert advice on products
  • Participating in regular stock taking and adhering to policies and procedures for cash and merchandise security
  • Flexibility across various departments, including product coding, pricing, and updating of prices on goods for resale
  • Adhering to all relevant policies & procedures, Health & Safety procedures, and reporting any hazards to Branch Management

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Learners permit or full driver's license required
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential
  • Experience within the Agri sector, Builders provider, or Hardware would be an advantage but not essential
  • Able to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment with a strong customer focus
  • Demonstrate initiative and flexibility when needed
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • A team player
