Job DescriptionWe're seeking a Senior Water Infrastructure Development Expert to join our water design team. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate with experienced engineers to develop and deliver comprehensive design solutions for water sector projects, including municipal water and wastewater pumping stations and treatment plants.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing mechanical design teams to deliver projects from conceptual phase through to completion
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver design solutions
- Mentoring junior engineers to promote knowledge-sharing and team development
- Ensuring all designs meet relevant standards and specifications
- Managing project budgets and schedules to meet agreed targets
This role offers the opportunity to gain diverse experience in water infrastructure development and contribute to the growth and success of our water design team.
RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you'll need:
- An Engineering degree (Honours bachelor's degree or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar discipline relevant to the specification above
- 7+ years post-graduate experience
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with AutoCAD 'Plant 3D' modelling
- Good academic record
- Full clean driving license and own transport required
- Fluent written and spoken English is essential
