Consumer Protection Specialist

Job Description

The position provides an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the protection of consumers and represent the organization at national and international forums.

The division is responsible for exercising the organization's functions in consumer protection and ensuring traders comply with relevant legislation.

The Consumer Protection Division consists of three operational units, including the EU Consumer Protection Cooperation Unit and two Strategic Engagement and Consumer Insights Units.

Key responsibilities include managing enforcement requests, participating in joint actions and sweeps, and representing the organization at national and international forums.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Actively contribute to the work of the Consumer Protection Division;

Carry out screenings to assess non-compliance by traders with consumer protection legislation;

Act as an Authorised Officer supporting CCPC enforcement activities;

Represent the organization at national and international forums;

Support stakeholder engagement and awareness campaigns related to consumer protection legislation.
