Job Title: Business Development Coordinator

The role of the Business Development Coordinator is to support business development and operational activities within the facilities management unit. This position plays a crucial part in managing client communications, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating internal resources, and ensuring the efficient execution of sales and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective communication and implementation of business policies and processes within the Business Unit.
  • Guarantee the provision of safe working conditions and implement the Company's health and safety policy across the FM Business.
  • Arrange all Contract Review Meetings throughout the year.
  • Prepare Business Unit Review Packs on a monthly basis ahead of Business Unit Reviews.
  • Manage QHSE online reporting (including Hazards, Audits, Reports etc.).
  • Complete Audit Schedules annually.
  • Track holidays and sickness for FM business on the Workday system.
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure staffing structures are updated on all contracts.
  • Perform ad hoc event management upon request.
  • Manage diaries, emails, and make ad hoc travel arrangements for the FM COO.
  • Work collaboratively with other Operational managers to develop the business effectively, improve team working, and support colleagues.
  • Promote and maintain the core values of TSL FM.
  • Deliver effective business communication through advice, review, and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting, and other publications as required.
  • Provide a learning environment and ensure appropriate training and development planning. Ensure basic training needs are met, employees are fully competent to undertake their roles and can reach their full future potential.
  • Support the Sales Team throughout the sales process.
  • Ensure the completion of all Pre-Qualifying Questionnaires for the FM Business.
  • Assist in the production of supporting Sales Literature, including ITT, RFP, RFI, and sales brochures.
  • Arrange sales calls with Senior Team members on an ad hoc basis.
  • Work with Sub-contractors and Business Development Managers to secure best prices for sales opportunities.
  • Support Mobilisation as and when required.
  • Prepare performance dashboards and KPIs for the business unit.
  • Monitor expenses, invoices, and budgeting information related to sales activities.
