Effective project management is critical in today's fast-paced business environment. We are seeking a skilled Contract Project Manager to support railway projects in Ireland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering NEC4 contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual provisions and managing claims and disputes. They will also advise project teams on claim resolution and maintain accurate records.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering NEC4 contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual provisions.
  • Managing claims and disputes, documenting and resolving contractual disagreements.
  • Advising project teams on claim resolution and maintaining accurate records.
  • Leading project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, adhering to project schedules and contractual obligations.
  • Oversseeing change management processes under NEC4 guidelines.
  • Engaging with internal teams, contractors, clients, and regulators to address project challenges and resolve claims.
  • Ensuring compliance with Irish railway standards and preparing reports on project progress and claims status.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, implementing necessary controls to avoid contractual issues.
  • Providing expert advice on NEC4 contract clauses and processes to project teams.

We require the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience managing contracts of railway or infrastructure projects, focusing on NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
  • Expertise in claims management and dispute resolution processes under NEC3/NEC4.
  • Strong understanding of railway systems and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • International working experience in multicultural teams advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as per business and client requirements.
