**Assistant Commercial Manager Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Commercial Manager to support the delivery of national infrastructure programmes in Ireland. This role will involve working closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide high-quality, cost-effective solutions for complex railway projects.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Support project teams with commercial tasks, including preparing reports, contract administration, cost forecasting, and subcontract management.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and input cost and quantity information for report production.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support business finance reporting, including cost and revenue forecasting, to facilitate profit and loss analysis.
- Review contractor delivery, attend progress meetings, and support the implementation of risk management plans.
- Maintain accurate records of project financial documents, agreements, and communications for audit purposes.
- Prepare and schedule meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
**Requirements:**
- A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent commercial management/construction management experience.
- A minimum of 3 years' practical experience, ideally in the railway industry.
- Working towards chartership with RICS/SCS/CIOB/ICES.
- Knowledge of NEC 3 and 4 suites of contracts.
