Job Opportunity: Front Office Team Member

Overview

Marlfield House is a luxurious country house with an excellent reputation for its food, service, and luxury. The property features 26 bedrooms, two restaurants, and 36 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds.

The successful applicant will work with the front office team to sell rooms, take restaurant reservations, confirm bookings, and manage online sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile cash and credit card balances on a weekly basis
  • Process supplier invoices and payments through HubDoc and Xero
  • Complete payroll processing and gratuity allocation on a bi-weekly basis
  • Track and report revenue and costs
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
Requirements
  • At least four years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal, sales, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in technology and able to learn new systems quickly
