Job Overview
LSC is seeking a skilled Senior E&I Project Engineer to join our team at a Cork-based biopharmaceutical company.
The site manufactures low volume bulk API for Phase III clinical trials, initial product launch, and long-term market support. The team grows, purifies, formulates, and bulk fills mammalian cell culture-derived APIs for medicines intended for human use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and participate in design, construction, and commissioning activities on site.
- Lead projects for facility modifications and capital equipment procurement.
- Assist the Capital Projects Manager in planning and tracking of activities.
- Provide technical process support to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Generate and execute Commissioning & Qualification activities if required.
- Participate in HAZOP and design reviews.
Requirements
- Relevant level 8 engineering qualification in Electrical or Instrumentation engineering.
- Experience in the full project lifecycle or a PMP qualification is strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of experience working in a GMP Environment.
- Direct supervision experience of vendor engineers and contractors during engineering works on single or multiple capital projects.
- Experience in providing technical process support to the project team and generating change controls on Trackwise.
