Job Title: Tax Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our tax team as a trainee.

About the Role:
  • To support the tax department in delivering compliance services while progressing through professional qualifications (e.g., CTA with the Irish Tax Institute).
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and file Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Capital Acquisitions Tax (CAT) returns.
  2. Assist with RCT compliance for construction clients.
  3. Liaise with Revenue and clients to resolve queries.
  4. Monitor deadlines and maintain accurate records.
  5. Support senior staff with tax research and advisory work.
  6. Coordinate VAT returns for international clients.
  7. Participate in client meetings and maintain strong relationships.
Requirements:
  • Recent graduate in Business, Accounting, or Law.
  • Willingness to pursue CTA exams (Irish Tax Institute).
  • Part-qualified accountant or tax adviser is beneficial.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational and teamwork skills.
  • Keen interest in Irish tax system and legislation.
