We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Trainee Tax Associate to join our tax team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in delivering compliance and advisory services while progressing through professional tax qualifications.
About the Role- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Capital Acquisitions Tax (CAT) returns.
- Assist with RCT compliance for construction clients.
- Liaise with Revenue and clients to resolve queries.
- Monitor compliance deadlines and maintain accurate records.
- Support senior staff with tax research and client advisory work.
- Coordinate VAT returns for international clients.
- Participate in client meetings and maintain strong relationships.
- Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Recent graduate in Business, Accounting, or Law.
- Willingness to pursue CTA exams.
- Part-qualified accountant or tax adviser is an advantage.
In addition to the above qualifications, we require strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines, strong organisational and teamwork skills, keen interest in Irish tax system and legislation, and ability to manage client relationships professionally.
