Job Role: Tax Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Tax Trainee to join our team. As a Tax Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in tax preparation, compliance, and advisory services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and file Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Capital Acquisitions Tax (CAT) returns
    • Assist with RCT compliance (Relevant Contracts Tax) for construction clients
    • Liaise with Revenue and clients to resolve queries
    • Monitor compliance deadlines and maintain accurate records
    • Support senior staff with tax research and client advisory work
    • Coordinate VAT returns for international clients
    • Participate in client meetings and maintain strong relationships


Requirements:
  • Recent graduate in Business, Accounting, or Law
  • Willingness to pursue CTA exams (Irish Tax Institute)
  • Part-qualified accountant or tax adviser is a plus

  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong organisational and teamwork skills
  • Keen interest in Irish tax system and legislation
