Job Opportunity

This is an entry-level tax position that involves supporting the tax department in delivering compliance and advisory services while progressing through professional tax qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file income tax returns, including Corporation Tax, VAT, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Capital Acquisitions Tax (CAT) returns.
  • Support senior staff with tax research and client advisory work, including liaising with Revenue and clients to resolve queries.
  • Monitor compliance deadlines and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Coordinate VAT returns for international clients, ensuring timely submission and minimal penalties.
  • Participate in client meetings, building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service.

Skill Requirements:

  • Recent graduate in Business, Accounting, or Law with a strong academic record.
  • Possession of a part-qualified accountant or tax adviser certification is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, with ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen interest in Irish tax legislation.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to meet business objectives.
