Electro-Mechanical Engineer Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical device products in the field of healthcare.

Job Responsibilities:
  • To deliver projects and technical design support for medical device products within the Sustaining Engineering Department.
  • Support component obsolescence projects and production requests for innovative medical device products.
  • Assist in failure investigations, fault finding techniques, research of alternative parts, work instruction and procedure updates, drawing updates, etc.
  • Work on new design concepts and projects identified for transfer to the current manufacturing location and provide technical expertise during the project release phases.
Key Requirements:
  • A strong background in electro-mechanical systems design and debug.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485 and 21CFR820 regulations.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical systems design and debug.
  • Familiarity with component obsolescence projects and production requests.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Qualifications:
  • NFQ Level 8 or Higher in relevant technical discipline (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronics, Engineering) with 0-2 years relevant engineering experience.
  • Degree in alternative disciplines will be considered if balanced by relevant engineering experience.
  • Strong technical background (Mechanical/Electromechanical/Manufacturing) is desirable.
