Manufacturing Process Expertise

The Product and Process Engineer is responsible for supporting both local and group projects through pre- and post-product launch activities, managing engineering changes and driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate post-launch activities and manage product lifecycle engineering projects (PLE/PLM) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead and execute cross-functional change projects related to raw materials, products, and production lines to improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify and implement year-over-year improvements in process efficiency, cost, and product quality through data-driven analysis and collaborative efforts with stakeholders.
  • Propose and support new manufacturing processes, layouts, or technologies to enhance operations and stay competitive in the market.
  • Initiate and lead cost-saving initiatives through VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) projects to optimize resources and reduce waste.
  • Manage and maintain Product Master Data and related manufacturing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and ensure alignment with SOPs and internal standards to minimize disruptions.
  • Analyse production data and drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders across functions to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration to drive results.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as Lean or Six Sigma to identify areas for improvement.
  • Experience working with engineering documentation, ECOs, and master data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; familiarity with systems like SAP, Smartsolve, or JD Edwards is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English.
