Regulatory Risk Professional

The key objective of this role is to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements within the Enterprise Internal Ratings Based (IRB) Programme. This programme plays a vital part in AIB's risk management framework, driving benefits such as regulatory compliance, capital optimization, and informed business decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IRB regulatory demands through effective collaboration with programme and group compliance processes.
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory matters to support IRB programme colleagues.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of internal IRB controls to offer guidance on mitigating IRB regulatory risks.
