Job Title: Support Worker for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities in a community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist individuals with independent living skills, such as personal care, household tasks, and meal preparation.
- Encourage and support individuals to participate in community activities, social events, and educational programs.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

- FETAC level 5 qualification in Healthcare or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with vulnerable adults or individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of HIQA regulations and ability to adhere to National Standard policies.
- Experience and understanding of person-centered care and planning principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
- Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, including Microsoft Office and other digital tools.
- Full driver's license and access to a vehicle is an essential requirement for this role.
