Senior Software Developer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our team in Galway/Hybrid. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality applications that serve the financial industry.


  • Minimum 5+ years of application design & development experience across multiple technologies including Angular (or similar Javascript framework), Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Tomcat, and relational databases (ideally Oracle).
  • Experience with build, continuous integration, and delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools such as Git, Jenkins, etc.
  • Expertise in Test Automation Tools and Frameworks e.g. Cucumber, Cypress.
  • Experience of Agile development practices and the value they bring to development teams.
  • Proven track record of providing technical leadership to a team, part of the decision-making process in technical/architectural designs, setting and driving standards & practices and providing mentorship/coaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality code with high test coverage following company processes, standards, and methodologies.
  • Ensure systems in your assigned area are robust, resilient, and stable.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business partner needs and expectations.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, use cases, and systems design requirements.
