
Expert Haematology Specialist Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a specialist nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with haemoglobinopathies such as sickle cell disease and thalassemia.
- You will manage the care of patients with haemoglobinopathies, ensuring that their needs are met and they receive the best possible care.
- You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered quality service.
- You will develop additional clinical skills specific to the area of appointment, enabling you to make a significant contribution to the team.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Essential Skills and Qualifications- A valid registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- A minimum of 1 year's post-registration full-time experience or an aggregate of 1 year's full-time experience in the division of the register in which the application is being made.
- Successful completion of a post-registration programme of study relevant to the specialist area of care.
- Nurse Prescribing Registration.
- Working knowledge of healthcare patient record systems.
- Experience in caring for patients with haemoglobinopathy disorders.
