Full Stack Engineer Job Description

The role of a Full Stack Engineer involves the development and maintenance of the backend and frontend of web applications. Our ideal candidate will have proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies, including Spring Boot, APIs, React, and Microservices architecture.

Skill Summary:

  • Proficient in Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Collaborative mindset for behavior-driven development.
  • Experience with Spring Boot, APIs, React, and Microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of data storage techniques like Hadoop, Snowflake, and Mongo.
  • Familiarity with Cloud-based environments (PCF, AWS, Azure).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
  2. Collaborate with Business/Systems Analysts and Quality Engineers.
  3. Build Java-based applications using Spring Boot, APIs, and Microservices architecture.
  4. Design and develop large-scale production systems with high transaction volumes.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of troubleshooting expertise and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Bamboo, Jenkins, Chef, Cruise Control).
  • Familiarity with code coverage and health reporting tools (e.g., Sonar).
  • Advanced knowledge of Web Services – REST/XML.

Demonstrated Expertise:

  • Proven track record developing Microservices.
  • Experience with high-performance, high-availability transaction processing systems and multi-tiered web applications.
  • Ability to integrate vendor and open-source products into overall systems.
