Backend Software Developer

In our fintech environment, we are building scalable and reliable systems that require strong Java expertise. This is an opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic engineering team while also gaining exposure to Cyber Security.

This Backend Software Developer role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems using Java/J2EE. You will be responsible for applying your expertise across the full software development life cycle, from analysis and design through to execution.

You will write efficient Oracle queries and develop robust unit and integration tests. Additionally, you will participate in design and code reviews, sharing insights and ensuring quality.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key in this role, as you will identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities. We are looking for someone with 5+ years of programming experience with Java/J2EE and 2+ years of programming with Oracle.

Required qualifications include strong knowledge of source code repositories (GitHub, ClearCase) and familiarity with monitoring tools (Autosys, Dynatrace, Splunk). Experience with SailPoint, Hibernate, Web Services, Cloud architecture, or UNIX/Windows scripting is a bonus.

As a mid-senior level developer, you will work on challenging projects and have the opportunity to upskill in Security tooling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java/J2EE.
