Job Title: Application Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced security professional to join our Secure Architecture team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on innovation, thinks like an adversary and believes secure design is critical to scalable growth.

The Enterprise Security team safeguards systems, data and technologies that enable our mission to improve lives through connected health. We collaborate across engineering, data science, enterprise architecture and business units to embed security in everything we build.

This role involves leading security architecture efforts for AI, API and cloud-based applications across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include defining and evaluating security controls to protect models from adversarial attacks, data poisoning and unauthorized inference.

Requirements include 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with strong expertise in cloud-native application and data security, a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001), secure software development and encryption.

Responsibilities also include designing secure-by-design architecture patterns and reusable controls for APIs, microservices and distributed cloud environments. We are committed to embedding security in all aspects of our work.

A key aspect of this role is collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of security into every stage of software development and deployment.

Experience in designing and reviewing modern application architectures in agile and data-driven environments is essential for success in this position.

Key skills required for this role include knowledge of cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), expertise in secure software development practices, data encryption, and information assurance.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with relevant industry certifications such as CISSP or CEH.

Regularly evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the effectiveness of our security program.

Ensure alignment between the organization's overall security strategy and project-level requirements.

Provide expert advice on matters related to cloud security architecture and implementation.
