Cloud Security Expertise Sought

We are seeking a skilled security professional to design, implement, and maintain the security posture of our cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of security configurations, threat protection, identity and access management, compliance features, and Microsoft Defender products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and manage security features (Defender for Office 365, Purview, Compliance Center, Azure AD, etc.)
  • Implement and manage security policies, DLP (Data Loss Prevention), Conditional Access, and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication)
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents across the ecosystem
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits of the environment
  • Develop procedures for email security, anti-phishing, anti-spam, and malware protection
  • Collaborate with IT and InfoSec teams to ensure security policies and controls are consistently applied
  • Configure and manage Microsoft Purview (formerly Microsoft 365 Compliance Center) including retention, eDiscovery, and Insider Risk Management
  • Participate in incident response and forensics investigations
  • Provide input on security governance, baselines, and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with new security tools and capabilities
Essential Qualifications
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 security
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security architecture and tools
  • Microsoft Purview (Compliance Center, DLP, Insider Risk)
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration
  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM tools
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements
