Clinical Nurse Midwife Lead Role

This is a key leadership position within our healthcare team, responsible for the management of midwives and nurses in providing high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To lead a team of skilled professionals to deliver safe and effective care to patients, promoting a culture of excellence and best practice.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient outcomes, ensuring seamless coordination with other healthcare services.
  • To foster strong relationships with colleagues and external partners, promoting collaborative working practices.

Key Requirements:

  • A registered nurse or midwife qualification, with a proven track record of leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in midwifery and nursing management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Work Environment:

This role is based in Cork University Maternity Hospital, as part of the HSE South West: Kerry and Cork team.
