Sample Management Supervisor

Role Summary: We are seeking a Sample Management Supervisor to lead our sample management operations.

The successful candidate will oversee the daily activities of the sample management laboratory, including receipt, processing, storage, and shipment of biological samples. This role ensures compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  1. Supervise day-to-day operations of the sample management laboratory.
  2. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, quality standards, and internal policies related to sample management.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate sample processing in support of clinical trial activities.
  4. Manage inventory control and tracking systems for proper documentation and chain of custody of all samples.
  5. Provide leadership and training to sample management staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline, such as biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Experience in sample management, biobanking, or laboratory operations within a clinical research environment.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices related to sample handling and storage.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
