Project Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced project coordinator to oversee construction activity in the UK and Ireland, ensuring projects are set up correctly, and are operating in a collective and efficient manner.

  • This role will involve managing shared resources and finances to ensure each project is progressing on time and within budget.
  • You will oversee coordination with clients and design teams during the planning and design phase to ensure that construction planning meets all stakeholder requirements.
  • We require you to develop budgets and manage costs to ensure that construction projects are completed within guidelines.
  • You must ensure that all construction projects meet health and safety codes, quality requirements, environmental regulations, and building regulations.
  • Making strategic decisions, providing leadership and direction to the project team, to implement those decisions.
  • You will implement and define procedures for enhanced performance.
  • Ensuring personnel operate to company procedures.
  • You will meet with clients, stakeholders and project team to report on project progress.
  • Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.
  • Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships.
  • Work cohesively with Senior Management, on day-to-day operations, while developing future pipeline and growth policies.

Requirements:

  • Solid communication skills, with the ability to be assertive, while being diplomatic.
  • 10 + years of relevant post-qualification experience, with an appropriate management qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the execution of commercial/retail projects.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and stamp authority on projects.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • History of success within the industry.
