Payroll Associate Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a challenging role managing end-to-end payroll processing and auto-enrolment compliance for a portfolio of clients.

As a Payroll Associate, you will develop strong client relationships, collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers, and support junior team members in achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll processing, ensure compliance, and submission of accurate records.
  • Maintain excellent client relationships by coordinating with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Review payrolls, ensure accuracy, and implement process improvements.
  • Provide guidance to junior team members and collaborate with the Payroll Manager.
  • Stay updated through regular training on legislative and system changes.
  • Handle client queries and generate financial reports.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • At least 2 years of payroll experience (EuroPay or similar system) is required.
  • IPASS qualification is preferred; payroll bureau experience is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing, pensions, benefits, and statutory payments is essential.
  • Ability to accurately calculate payroll manually.
  • Excellent multitasking, client management, and communication skills are required.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation and auto-enrolment regulations is necessary.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching team members is beneficial.
