We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our organization for a short-term contract located in North Dublin.

This role is onsite and may require occasional travel using your own vehicle, fully expensed. Your duties will include resolving end-user hardware and software problems that cannot be dealt with by the Helpdesk.

As an ideal candidate, you will have at least 4 years of experience working in a Level-2 Helpdesk Role, as well as previous experience working with Active Directory, creating users, resetting passwords, removing or transferring accounts, implementing Group Policy, and managing User Permissions.

You must be eligible to work full-time and long-term in the location specified or currently hold a valid appropriate long-term work Visa to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Resolving end-user hardware and software problems
  • Documenting and communicating solutions to issues
  • Working with Active Directory to create users, reset passwords, remove or transfer accounts, implement Group Policy, and manage User Permissions
  • Dealing with all end-user hardware/software problems that cannot be resolved by the Helpdesk, including issues with local software, network connectivity, printing, PC performance, mobile phones, audio-visual equipment, Windows Updates, and printing issues
