Construction Lead

E&I Construction Leads are responsible for leading the construction of E&I systems in accordance with safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in E&I Engineering or a similar field, significant years of experience in a similar role, and biotech/pharma knowledge.

The key responsibilities of this role include reviewing returned E&I bids, preparing TBA, developing detailed execution strategies, assisting in schedule development and schedule reviews, leading IAPs, and ensuring timely turnover of all E&I systems to the client.

  • Review and analyze E&I bids to determine the most suitable option for the project.
  • Develop and implement detailed execution strategies to ensure successful project completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage schedules, including construction, installation, and testing.
  • Lead and coordinate internal and external resources to ensure timely completion of projects.

This is a senior-level leadership position that requires strong trade and industry knowledge, as well as experience in managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

The E&I Construction Lead will be responsible for ensuring that the construction phase of the projects is adequately provided with suitably capable, qualified, and experienced personnel, together with all the necessary plant, tools, temporary facilities, and other resources.

Subcontract management including Safety, Schedule, Cost, and Quality shall be your main deliverable. Engages with the Design, Commissioning, and Client teams throughout the project to ensure system turnovers are achieved to scheduled milestones.

Ensures that the projects are constructed to the drawings, specifications, applicable standards, good construction practices, to schedule, and in accordance with the cost budget.
