Job Description

The Department Head is a crucial role within our retail team, accountable for supporting the Store Manager and Assistant in overseeing the daily operations of the department.

This key position plays a vital part in driving sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager and Assistant in managing store business operations, including profit and loss management, promotional activities, merchandising displays, and events.
  • Joint responsibility with the manager and assistant for stock management, encompassing ordering, price adjustments, execution of stocktakes, handling damaged products, and returns.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries, procuring merchandise requested, processing payment transactions, and preparing merchandise for delivery.
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership abilities to guide, motivate, and inspire team members towards achieving individual and collective goals.
  • Sales and performance coaching experience to enhance employee performance and contribute to improved sales outcomes.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, focus efforts on successfully achieving targets, and maintain high standards of quality.
