We are seeking a highly experienced software engineering manager to lead our master digital payments services team in Dublin. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in enabling agile teams to enhance and modernize our commercial business-to-business (B2B) digital payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage cross-functional teams building commercial Java-based, distributed, highly available applications.
- Take product initiatives from requirements to production deployment.
- Lead and guide agile teams consisting of scrum masters, business analysts, developers, and testers to deliver software that meets strategic objectives.
- Oversee effective development and delivery of software solutions that meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with product owners, business/tech operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Proven experience managing development teams in multi-team environments and remote management expertise.
- Experience applying Scrum or SAFe Agile methodologies in high-performance product development environments where reliability, security, and performance are essential.
- Excellent communication skills and proven experience collaborating with business stakeholders to drive strategic goals.
- Prior experience in the payments and fintech industries is an advantage for compliance requirements such as PCI DSS.
- Expertise with relational databases such as Oracle and Postgres is a significant advantage.
