Production Supervisor Job Summary

Manage daily operations, establish performance standards, track metrics, and address process issues.

  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Review labor management plans and approve adjustments as needed.
  • Understand product specifications and quality requirements.
  • Develop and monitor plant performance goals, tracking progress and implementing improvements.
  • Implement initiatives to reduce waste and scrap.
  • Define and communicate roles and responsibilities among team members.
  • Approve employee performance evaluations.
  • Investigate workplace accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Verify adherence to quality management systems and regulatory standards.
  • Track inventory levels and ensure accuracy.
  • Provide fair and consistent treatment of employees, upholding company policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain quality systems, ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive technical and operational enhancements.
  • Oversee production facility operations, including resourcing, manpower, and efficiency.
  • Monitor production data and implement solutions to improve productivity.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in injection molding medical device manufacturing or similar high-volume production roles.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to analyze data and present insights.
  • A results-driven approach with problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Equivalent qualifications are desirable but experience is key.
