We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving sustainable design across various building projects.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sustainability Engineer to take on a senior position and lead energy modeling, life cycle analysis, and carbon footprint assessments to ensure optimal environmental performance.
You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive sustainability assessments, collaborating with architects, engineers, and designers to embed sustainable practices throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring that projects meet or exceed local and international sustainability standards.
In addition, you will champion environmental strategies that enhance energy efficiency and sustainable outcomes, and mentor and guide junior engineers to contribute to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the company.
Key Requirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sustainability engineering, preferably within a design or consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of sustainable building certifications (LEED, BREEAM, etc.).
- Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., IES, EnergyPlus) and life cycle assessment tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to clients and stakeholders.
- Possession of a passion for sustainability, innovation, and the environment, with a strong commitment to driving positive change.
