Senior Mechanical Engineer Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead our team of passionate engineers in revolutionizing sustainable building design.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and minimum 12-15 years of post-qualification design experience primarily within a consultancy environment.

Previous design experience in data centre projects is essential, as well as experience in the Irish market and knowledge of Irish building regulations.

Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable, along with excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and delivery of complex building services projects.
  • Develop and implement innovative mechanical solutions that incorporate net-zero carbon principles.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project integration.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Oversee contractor coordination and commissioning of mechanical installations.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of post-qualification design experience.
  • Previous design experience in data centre projects.
  • Experience in the Irish market.
  • Chartered Engineer status.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
