We are seeking a seasoned branch manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and distribution center in Dublin.

The Job
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the branch, including warehouse, distribution, logistics, sales, and customer service functions.
  • Ensure operational excellence while meeting financial targets and identifying growth opportunities in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Oversee warehouse operations to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
  • Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team, building capability and driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Customer & Supplier Engagement: Build lasting relationships with key customers and suppliers, ensuring exceptional service and business growth.
  • Commercial Performance: Manage branch profitability, analyze performance data, and implement corrective actions to meet financial targets.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor local market trends and competitor activity, identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to industry standards and health & safety regulations.
  • Reporting: Provide timely and accurate reporting to senior management on KPIs, sales performance, expenses, and profitability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role within warehouse, distribution, or related operational environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering year-on-year growth and improving operational performance.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and mentor staff.
  • Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and interpreting financial data to drive decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
