About the Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to take on a senior role in mechanical design engineering. The company is looking for an experienced professional to lead projects from inception to completion, develop project plans, and attend team meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading projects from inception to completion
  • Developing project plans
  • Attending team meetings
  • Designing HVAC and Utility systems
  • Conducting site inspections
  • Ensuring designs meet building regulations, CIBSE guides, and Health & Safety standards
  • Supporting sustainable projects (advantageous)

Requirements:

  • Strong technical ability in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering Services and Design
  • Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in a design consultancy environment
  • Knowledge of current CIBSE and ASHRAE Design Guides, Building Regulations, EN, and IEC Standards
  • Experience of client, vendor, and contractor interaction and management
  • Proactive, good communicator, and ability to work well with others in a multifunctional team
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy
